Vidhana Soudha - The official building holding the Legislative Chambers of the state government.
Shiva Statue - Statue of Lord Shiva. The statue depicts Lord Shiva who is seated in Padmashan or Lotus position.
The Fort and Palace of Tipu Sultan -The construction of the palace of Tipu Sultan was started by Haider Ali and completed by Tipu Sultan himself. Tipu's Palace is a
two-storied ornate wooden structure with pillars, arches and balconies flanked by gardens on either sides leading to the palace. Built entirely in Teak wood, the palace is described as the "Abode of Happiness", as proclaimed by an inscription on the wooden screen.
Lal Bagh - The name Lal Bagh has been given to it for the wonderfully bloomed red roses that remain blooming all through the year in this garden. This garden is laid out in typical Mughal style with a separate plot for each kind of plant. Tthis garden is aesthetically designed, with lawns, flowerbeds, lotus pools and fountains.
Attara Kacheri- The State High Court located in Cubbon park and situated opposite the Vidhan Soudha and constructed in 1867. This magnificent building of stone and brick, houses the high court and several lower courts. Attara Kacheri literally means 'The eighteen offices or departments'.

Gandhi Bhavan
- Gandhi Bhavan of Bangalore is dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation. The Bhavan was set up with the intention of promoting the life and teachings of Gandhiji. Situated on the Kumara Krupa Road, Gandhi Bhawan was started as Gandhi
Smaraka Nidhi (GSN), under the chairmanship of Dr Rajendra Prasad, the then President of India. The main attraction of the Gandhi Bhawan consists in a
comprehensive picture gallery, displaying the entire life of Mahatma Gandhi.
Cubbon Park - One of the biggest parks of Bangalore city. It is major landmark in Bangalore contributing to various Historical Monuments and
Government Buildings, Cultural, Scientific Institutions other than just being a park. Cubbon Park occupies over 300 acres with flowering plants, towering trees, shaded groves and vast expanse of green. Though this park is in the heart of the city it contributes to the vast expanse of greenery, protecting environment for Bangaloreans, a great lung space for morning joggers. So also for naturalists who study plants in the serene natural environment.
Ulsoor Lake - One of the biggest lakes in Bengaluru, is located on the eastern side of the city. It derives its name from the name of the locality it is
situated, namely, Ulsoor close to M G Road, Bangalore. It is spread over 123.6 acres and has several islands. Even though the lake is dated to Kempegowdas’ time, the
present lake was created by Sir Lewin Bentham Bowring, the then Commissioner of Bangalore.

Jumma Masjid - Located in one of the busiest market area of Bangalore, the Jumma Masjid in Bangalore is the oldest mosque in the city and is dedicated to Tipu
Sultan. The rare bubris painting on the ceilings and walls remained covered by layers of white paints for years. Beneath the layers it revealed the existence of the beautiful bubris that bear a mark of Tipu Sultan.
Gangadhareshware Temple (Cave Temple) - The famous temple houses a rare idol of Agni, the God of Fire. The temple’s speciality is a rare phenomenon. On the 13th or
14th of January, every year, at sunset, the rays of the sun pass through a window in the shrine, and then between the horns of the Nandi (the Sacred Bull) and finally shine on the Lingam of Lord Shiva.
Government Museum and Venkatappa Art Gallery - This art gallery displays 100s of paintings. The gallery has collections of scenic beauties. As the name suggests, the
gallery has collection of the great artist Venkatappa. The gallery has Mathura stone sculptures and the sculptures from the Khajuraho School of Art. It also houses clay
artifacts and pottery, which belong to the Indus Valley Civilizations. The Venkatappa Art Gallery is located within the premises of the Karnataka Government
Museum, on the Kasturaba Road. Visit to explore this fascinating world of art.

combines the conventional elements of temple architecture with modern high-tech amenities. It has beautifully decorated Rajagopuram and artificial waterfalls. The hall has beautiful ceiling-paintings. It also has Vedic Theatre, Vedic museums, beautiful garden, and open air theatre.
Bull Temple - The temple is dedicated to Nandi, the mount of Lord Shiva. The monolithic bull is supposed to be much older than the temple housing and consisting it. The Bull Temple in Bangalore in India was built in the 16th century.
Aquarium - Bangalore Aquarium is near Cubbon Park. It has exotic variety of aquatic life. The Aquarium is believed to be the second largest aquarium in India with three floors. (contd on section 5)
